Welcome to The Inner Circle, a private network for coaches, therapists and wellbeing experts supporting today’s top entrepreneurs

At Startup Snapshot, we’ve spent years diving deep into the psyche of founders, researching their fears, pressures and what helps them thrive. One truth has become clear: the role of the therapists and coaches in this ecosystem is more critical than ever.

But supporting founders isn’t like supporting other leaders. Their psychological makeup is different- driven by high stakes, constant change, and an intensity that’s hard to explain.

That’s why we’re launching The Inner Circle.

This is a private network designed to help you, the experts guiding founders, do your job at the highest level. We’ve brought together the gold standard: cutting-edge research, top-tier practitioners, and deep human connection in a world flooded by AI noise.

Quick Answers Top 9

01

Who is the Inner Circle meant for?

The Inner Circle was born out of the research work done by Startup Snapshot, which explores the hidden psychological dynamics of the startup world. While that research focuses on the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Inner Circle itself is intentionally designed for the people who support them: coaches, therapists, subject matter experts, and other professionals who guide founders. We bring together practitioners and thought leaders to learn, grow, and exchange insights in a community that deeply understands the founder psyche.

02

Is the community only for coaches?

Not at all. We value the diversity of backgrounds and perspectives. The Inner Circle
membership is open to three kinds of professionals:

  • Practitioners: Coaches, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and trainers working directly with entrepreneurs
  • Subject Matter Expert: Authors, researchers, or experts who contribute meaningful work on entrepreneurial psychology, wellbeing, or performance
  • Solution Builders: You develop tools, programs, platforms, or frameworks that support founder wellbeing and performance at scale.

The one unifying thread is a focus on supporting the founder to succeed through psychological measures.

03

What are the core criteria to apply for membership?

As a private community, we do have entry criteria. Generally, you’ll need:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in your current role (as a practitioner, subject matter expert, or solution builder on entrepreneurial wellbeing)
  • Active involvement with founders through your work or experience
  • Relevant qualifications or a proven track record that align with your role (as mentioned before), such as coaching credentials, publications, or startup experience

We also consider overall fit, alignment with our mission, and how you might contribute to the community.

04

What are “open ecosystem” events?

We host events exclusively for Inner Circle members that focus on peer learning, deep discussions, and practical insights. In addition, we run select events that are open to the wider startup ecosystem.

In these open events, like research roundtables, we invite not only Inner Circle members but also investors, founders and other partners from the ecosystem. These gatherings encourage broader conversations and more diverse perspectives.

05

Who are the other members?

Inner Circle members are a hand-selected, global community of practitioners and experts, spanning San Francisco to Australia. They bring multi-disciplinary experience, from psychology, coaching, and leadership development to founder support, investing, and organizational behavior.

While their backgrounds vary, they’re united by a shared mission: a deep commitment to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, especially the wellbeing, mindset, and mental health of founders. Every member joins with the goal of elevating the quality of support available to entrepreneurs worldwide.

06

What kinds of activities happen each month?

Each month includes a mix of gatherings designed to deepen your expertise and broaden your perspective. You can expect:

  • Keynote Talks – External experts share their latest research, case studies, and real-world insights.
  • Meet the Investor – VC and angel investors discuss their experiences with founders, support programs, and emerging trends.
  • Practical Deep Dives – Hands-on workshops and peer exchanges focused on the issues that matter most to practitioners.
  • Open Ecosystem Events – Roundtables and workshops where we bring in external partners for interdisciplinary exchange.
07

What topics does the Inner Circle cover?

We explore a range of themes, all rooted in the human side of entrepreneurship. Key areas include:

  • Founder Psychology: Motivations, patterns, and traits that shape how founders lead and make decisions
  • Mental Health: Stress, recovery, emotional regulation, and sustainable performance
  • Team Dynamics and Conflict: Co-founder friction, communication, and trust
  • Relationships: How partners, mentors, and investors influence wellbeing and resilience
  • Technology: The psychological impact of AI, innovation, and mental health tools
  • Startup Scaling: Emotional and cognitive demands at different stages of growth
  • Investor and Ecosystem Wellbeing: How support programs are designed and delivered
  • Psychedelics and Emerging Therapeutics: Research and ethical considerations around alternative therapies
08

How can I connect with other members and build meaningful relationships?

As an Inner Circle member, you have 24/7 access to our private online platform, where you can join group spaces, participate in topic-based discussions, and message members directly. You’ll also connect through our live sessions, which include breakout rooms and open conversations designed to spark real dialogue. Beyond that, we host regular networking opportunities (such as small peer circles and informal coffee chats) so you can meet other members, exchange perspectives, and build deeper relationships over time.

09

How can I share my own expertise with the community?

You are encouraged to contribute actively. You can participate in peer spaces, join live events, or apply to lead your own signature session. These sessions let you present your frameworks, research, or insights and be recognized for your expertise. Each session is recorded and added to the platform so future members can learn from it too.
